Two weeks after the tragic attack on Simchat Torah I get a phonecall from a friend, asking me for ma'asrot. His wife was a successful interior designer, she sustained a house with 10 kids, BA"H, without financial problems but when there aren't any workers noone does renovations. Just like that there income was abruptly stopped. After a year of receiving this phonecall every month (!) I decided to open a fund for him. When I went about to raise for this cause, a few friends told me of families in their building or Kehillah that are in a bad situation as well and so this fund took on itself more families that are living in poverty. There is already a waiting list . . . the more we can raise the more we can help
